President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave the good news of additional quota for earthquake victims.
“With the arrangement we have made in a way that will not affect our other students and will not create a victimization for them, on February 5, 2023, for our students who are enrolled in 8th grades of schools only in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya and Nurdağı and İslahiye districts of Gaziantep province, during this preference period, all of Turkey’s We will open 2 additional quotas for each branch in schools with exams on the side.“

Announcing the decision on social media, Erdoğan pointed to the preference guide for the details of the new regulation.
Details on the regulation will be included in the guide to be published by the Ministry of National Education today.
LGS placement preferences can be made between 3-19 July.
