MEB Teaching Career Stages Written Exam Application Guide has been published on the Ministry’s website.
Accordingly, the Teaching Career Stages Written Exam will be held on November 19, 2023, at 10:00 Turkey time, in 81 provincial examination centers.
Candidates will take the Teaching Career Steps Written Exam at the exam centers in the city they choose during the application.
The duration of the exam, in which 100 questions with 5 options will be asked, will be 150 minutes. Evaluation will be made out of 100 points, the number of wrong answers will not affect the number of correct answers. Those who score 70 or above in the exam will be considered successful.

Applications of teachers working in private education institutions affiliated with the Ministry will be approved by district or provincial national education directorates under the coordination of the General Directorate of Private Educational Institutions.
Teachers and specialist teachers working in public institutions other than the Ministry can also apply for the written exam, provided that they meet the required conditions.
