According to the statement made by ÖSYM, candidates who apply to DGS from the earthquake zone, whose applications started today, as in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) and Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS), will not be charged the exam fee.
ÖSYM President Ersoy also said in a statement on the subject:
“We will not charge any exam fee at DGS from candidates residing in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa, Sivas-Gürün or who were residing there after the earthquake dated February 6, 2023. “We continue to stand by our earthquake-stricken brothers and sisters. We have previously stated in YKS and KPSS applications that we do not charge any fees from candidates applying from the earthquake region. We maintain this stance.”
