Stating that the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) sessions will be held on June 17-18, Head of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy stated that they will receive the applications on March 8-23.
Stating that the results of the exam will be announced on July 20, Ersoy said, “Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) General Ability-General Culture-Educational Sciences sessions are on July 23, Field Knowledge 1st day sessions are on July 29, 2nd day sessions are on July 30”. The KPSS Teaching Field Knowledge Test (ÖABT) will be held on August 6. The results of KPSS will be announced on August 25.
YKS fee will not be collected from earthquake victims
Regarding YKS, Ersoy said, “There will be no examination and application fee for all candidates who reside in 11 provinces and one district declared as disaster areas due to the earthquake, and migrate to other provinces and districts after the earthquake.”
“We will conduct approximately 50 exams in 2023”
Noting that they will hold approximately 50 exams this year, Ersoy said:
“In 2022, we provided exam and placement services to over 12 million candidates. Together with all our stakeholders, we will continue to work as an exam center at international standards this year. Previously, some exams could not be held in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Malatya, and the candidates who will take the exam in this region said that “We have announced that they can choose the exam center. We are working to ensure that our candidates in the earthquake zone do not suffer in the next exams. Information about the exams we apply is regularly made on our website and social media channels. I wish success to all candidates who will participate in the exams in advance.”
The 2023 Exam Calendar, which includes the exam, application and result announcement dates of the exams to be applied by OSYM this year, can be accessed on the “osym.gov.tr” website.
Candidates will be able to apply for YKS starting today.
