The central exam will be held throughout the country, including the provinces in the earthquake zone. In this year’s exam, no questions will be asked from the second semester subjects of the 8th grade, so that the students in the earthquake area do not experience victimization.
LGS central exam will be held in 15 thousand 532 schools and 81 thousand 570 halls. There will be a total of 465 thousand 274 examiners in the two sessions.
The preparation for the central exam was made by considering 1 million 246 thousand 429 students studying in the 8th grade this year. Of the 256 thousand students in the earthquake zone, 67 thousand will take the exam in 71 provinces with their own demands. Exam applications of all remaining students were made centrally.
Students who want to take the LGS central exam will enter. Students who do not take the exam will also be placed in high schools with local placement. Exam entrance documents will be ready when the student will take the exam on the exam day.
Students must have at least 2 pencils, pencil sharpener, and a valid identity document (ID card with Turkish ID number or Turkish identity card or passport with valid validity, picture and stamped identity document issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs General Directorate of Migration Management for foreign students) when they come to the exam. and they should have a soft eraser that does not leave stains.
The exam will be administered in two sessions. In the oral session, which will start at 09.30, students will be asked a total of 50 questions from Turkish, Turkish Revolution History and Kemalism, Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge, and foreign language courses, and a 75-minute response time will be given.
Students will be given 80 minutes in the digital session, which will start at 11.30 and will ask a total of 40 questions from mathematics and science. During the 45-minute period between the two sessions, students will be able to go to the school gardens and meet their needs.
Answer key will be published after the exam
As in previous years, this year too, students will be able to get their exam booklets from the schools where they took the exam the next day. After the exam, the answer key is expected to be published on the Ministry’s website tomorrow afternoon.
The results of the central exam will be announced on the internet address “https://www.meb.gov.tr” on June 26. The exam result document will not be sent to the students by mail.
With the announcement of the exam results, the LGS preference and placement guide will be published and the high school placement process will be started.
Population directorates will be kept open for students
