Minister Yusuf Tekin made a statement on a television channel regarding the details of the basic education regulation. He explained the new regulation for passing the class.
The regulation will be published next week
Tekin, “Certain courses need to be above average. In our basic education regulation, we made it mandatory to get a 70 in Turkish. We have not published the regulation yet. It will be out next week. Those who cannot achieve an average of 70 will not pass.” said.
Open high school exams will be face to face
Minister Tekin also shared the latest situation after the new regulation in open high schools. He reminded that the exams will be held face to face, not online.
“We looked at the application regarding open high school. Currently, the number of students enrolled in open high schools has decreased significantly due to the legitimate reasons and reasons we have defined. There are approximately 10 thousand registered students. It shows that the measures we took have received a positive response from the public and that we are doing the right thing. This year, open high school exams will also be face-to-face..”
“If the figures become clear before the budget law is passed, we will start the appointment process.”
Tekin also said regarding teacher appointments:My desire, my wish, was this. If the figures become clear before the budget law is passed, we will start the appointment process. I thought we would start our friends as the new academic year begins in 3 months, and I explained this. We will share this with the relevant ministers.” he informed.
