The Regulation on the Amendment of the Ministry of National Education’s Regulation on Appointment and Relocation of Teachers was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
Accordingly, compulsory work obligations of those who started working in the Ministry of National Education before 16 June 2023, and those who fulfill these obligations in the educational institutions where they still work, were abolished.
With the regulation, the time spent by those who worked as instructors, teachers or guidance counselors in the projects carried out for the education of foreign students in official education institutions before being appointed as teachers to the Ministry staff will be included in the service point calculation of the teachers over the service score foreseen for the service area where the task is performed.
