According to the statement made by the Izmir Governor’s Office, necessary studies are being carried out by the Provincial Directorate of National Education for families with school-age children who came to the city after the earthquakes, under the coordination of the Governor’s Office.

“In the guesthouses of public institutions and organizations where our citizens stayed in the earthquake, we put into service 3 kindergartens for the 3-5 year old student group in the first place. We assigned 22 teachers, 17 of whom are preschool teachers and 5 of them classroom teachers, for our earthquake victims. “The registration process for a total of 2,234 students, 125 kindergarten, 838 primary school and 1271 secondary school students, who came to the city from the region, has been carried out. We have made the necessary planning and arrangements for our students who come or will come to our city. We are mobilizing all the means of our state so that they can continue their education life without any problems.”
