Minister Özer drew attention to Turkey’s development in the defense industry and made the following assessments:
“Why did these uneasiness and tides occur in the field of defense industry during the election process, because Turkey has now become a country that can produce in the field of defense industry. Turkey has done two things in the field of defense industry at the same time. First, it increased its production capacity, and secondly, it increased the domestic contribution rate in production while increasing its production capacity. That’s why the breakthrough in the defense industry, which gave confidence to friends and fear to the enemy, made some people nervous.”
“We give the name of Özdemir Bayraktar to our school”
Stating that they should give a name to the Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Özer said, “The Bayraktar brothers had a father, Özdemir Bayraktar. From now on, the name of this school will be ‘Özdemir Bayraktar Space and Aviation Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School’. The more loyal we are, the more those names will live, and this country will continue on its way without turning back.” he said.

Pointing out that industrial companies should take responsibility for vocational education related to their fields, Demir said, “When we say qualified manpower, we are talking about employees who can actually work from the day they graduate and have the qualifications sought in the market. We aim for our students in these schools to have very important competencies on the day they graduate. There are many vocational high schools on subjects such as aircraft maintenance, but this one is a bit more special. There is also a cool word ‘space’. This school will be in the air, and our students will be in the air. With the skills, experience and talents they really acquire, I hope they will become sought-after employees in our country. . That’s our ideal.” made its assessment.
