Vertical Transfer Exam will be held on Sunday

Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy made evaluations about the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), which will be held on July 16.

Reminding that DGS applications were received on 29 May-5 June, Ersoy said, “For students who want to continue their two-year vocational school education by transferring to 4-year undergraduate programs, a total of 464 thousand 281 candidates will attend the DGS, which will be applied in 97 exam centers in 81 provinces and Nicosia. I wish good luck to all candidates who will take the exam.” he said.

Stating that 1230 buildings and 21 thousand 167 halls will be used for the exam, Ersoy shared the information that 57 thousand 608 people, including security officers, will serve in the exam.

Stating that there will be a numerical and verbal aptitude test at DGS, Ersoy said, “The exam will start at 10:15 and the answering time will be 135 minutes. The test to be applied in the exam will consist of multiple choice questions.” made a statement.

Reminding that candidates must be present in the said buildings at least one hour before the exam, ÖSYM President Ersoy said that no candidates will be admitted to the exam buildings after 10:00. Ersoy also reminded that the population directorates that will be kept open to give temporary identity documents to those who lost their identity cards on the day of the exam were announced on the OSYM website.

2023-DGS results will be announced on 11 August.
