Many protocols were signed between the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and the labor market within the scope of vocational and technical education in order to meet the need for qualified manpower. With these protocols, some schools have started to provide job guarantees to their graduates, and some schools have provided opportunities such as scholarships to their students.
In high schools within the scope of vocational and technical education; defense industry, aviation and space technologies, cyber security, electrical-electronics and machinery technologies, agricultural technologies, construction technologies, clothing production technologies, civil aviation, transportation services, aircraft maintenance and repair services, health services, radio-television, journalism, tourism and hotel management, gastronomy, justice, animal husbandry and maritime.
Last year’s results of the central exam within the scope of LGS also revealed that students’ interest in these vocational high schools increased.
According to the 2022 results of the central exam within the scope of LGS; Ankara Yenimahalle ASELSAN Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Konya Selçuklu ASELSAN Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Istanbul Pendik Technopark Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Istanbul Beşiktaş ITU Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Istanbul Bağcılar Demirören Media Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Istanbul Arnavutköy Istanbul Airport Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School accepted students from the 1 percent success rate.
The first high schools in the field of aviation and space technologies will purchase this year
Ankara Elmadağ Özdemir Bayraktar Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Istanbul Başakşehir Baykar National Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School will also accept students for the first time according to the results of the central exam within the scope of LGS this year.
Ankara Elmadağ Özdemir Bayraktar Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School will have 3 main departments: “Design and Manufacturing”, “Propulsion Systems” and “Electronic Systems”.
A total of 60 students, 20 of each, will be admitted to these 3 main departments of the school. Students will be able to do their internships and have job opportunities in institutions such as TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, TEI and Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) within the framework of protocols.
This year, 50 students will be admitted to the “Aviation and Space Technology” and “Information Technologies” departments of Istanbul Başakşehir Baykar National Technology Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
In this school, internship and job opportunities will be offered within the scope of the protocol signed with BAYKAR.
