Students have been warned against the people and organizations that provide so-called overseas education consultancy, which has increased recently and caused Turkish students to suffer in education in the country.
North Macedonia is one of the most preferred countries in the Balkans for university education. About 4,000 Turkish students study at various universities in the country.
Skopje Embassy Educational Counselor called for “The Ministry of National Education has foreign representation as Educational Counselors and Attachés in 79 countries, especially in North Macedonia, and to obtain information about universities and other education-related issues from the Embassy Education Counselors in these countries before deciding to study in any country” made.
It was emphasized that the education consultancy can provide detailed information about the universities to the students and their parents, help the students who need a residence permit, and give information about the recognition of the universities and diploma equivalence, thus protecting the parents from unnecessary expenses and running the education process in a healthier way.
It has been stated that students can reach educational counselors via social media, e-mail or telephone.
